MEET OUR ACUPUNCTURIST

Michael Johnson is a renowned Acupuncturist practicing Acupuncture for over 15 years now. He is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, and he lived in East Tennessee until he was 24. Michael graduated from Tennessee Tech with honors in Psychology. After having his migraines helped with Chinese medicine, he decided to move to Seattle and learn Acupuncture at one of the top 3 universities in the country, Bastyr University.

 

Michael graduated from Bastyr University with honors in 2009 and went on to train under skilled practitioners for 2 more years when he left school. He learned to specialize in Japanese style Acupuncture, which is gentle and almost painless. Michael then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska for 6 years and worked in a wonderful multidisciplinary clinic in Alaska.

 

During this time Michael learned a natural allergy elimination technique (NAET).

 

For 4 years, Michael owned a successful clinic in Salem, Oregon. But after all that time, he decided it was time to move back to his roots. Michael and his 3 kids are so excited to be living in Western North Carolina and are absolutely in love with Western NC. Michael spent a lot of time in these mountains as a kid, and they were the best times of his life.

Michael enjoys weight lifting and bicycle riding as hobbies. He also enjoys playing with his kids and reading.
